The rotary scrubber immerses the materials in a rotating tube filled with water. The mixing is maximized by the advancing blades and the lifting bars located inside the tube.

The rotary scrubber is composed of a frame with cradles supporting tires on which the tube rolls. The tube, with a diameter of 1.5 to 3 m and a length of 4 to 10 m, can be lined with rubber and equipped with lifting bars and advancing blades.

The rotation of the tube is ensured by geared motors. The exterior is protected by grid panels to secure access; the interior of the tube can be accessed by a removable walkway.

The rotary scrubber can be fed with single or double flow. A trommel outlet equipment for dewatering and pre-screening can be proposed as an option.
