Comminution

Crushing is one of the first processes the materials extracted from quarries go through. It consists in reducing the size of particles.

Primary and secondary crushers are used for coarse materails : large rocks are reduced inot smaller ones, which themselves further sorted by screens or sent back to a crusher in order to optimize their size. Crushers are jaws or horizontal impact crushers.

The tertiary crushers take over and transform the materials into gravel or granulates. We can work on all types of crushers.
